报告摘要:
In this presentation an overview of Novel Materials would be investigated. The electrochemical determination of different compounds such as Hydrazine, Methanol, Drugs of Abuse and Antioxidants would be presented. Electrochemical determination through direct sensing or using a mediator would be also discussed, in particular for Amphetamines and Methamphetamines. The second part of the presentation would cover the utilisation of novel materials for Energy Storage Devices. The use of nanoparticles and the bimetallic effect encountered in the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction would be discussed. The Methanol oxidation along with different analytes used in Fuel Cells and Batteries would be also mentioned.
